azeroth survivors rogue build

Azeroth Survivors Rogue Build

TL;DR

Rogue is C-tier melee this snapshot — smallest pool (6 spells), Blade Flurry as the only tagged AOE, 135 HP. Who it is for: single-target finishers, not first-play pack soaking. (low confidence: kit numbers only.)

  • Core skill: Sinister Strike — 15 damage, 0.85s, 1 target, 5.5 yards.
  • Key AOE count: 1 tagged AOE spell (Blade Flurry) plus Rupture as the three-target DoT.
  • Easiest death wave is not in the snapshot. First boss clock is 2:15; win clock is 15 minutes.

Core combo and skill priority

Combat auto-casts. Your job is the draft and Sprint. The Blade Flurry core is four names: Sinister Strike, Blade Flurry, Rupture, Eviscerate. Offers still show three cards at a time with the card weights (upgrade owned spell 1.2, new class spell 1.0). You will not install the whole core in one level-up. The pool is 6 names and the cap is 6 — every Rogue spell fits if you want it.

  1. 0–5 min. Start on Sinister Strike (15 damage, 0.85s, 1 target, 5.5 yards). Take Blade Flurry from the three-card offer (11 damage, 3s, 6 yard nova). Sprint unlocks at level 5 (80% haste, 4s, 15s cooldown). First boss clock is 2:15.
  2. Mid run. Add Rupture (5/s for 6s, 3 targets, 10 yards) as the multi-target DoT. Keep ranking Sinister Strike — extra targets at ranks 3, 5, and 7. Do not fill the six-spell cap with Kidney Shot before Blade Flurry is in.
  3. Late run. Slot Eviscerate (42 damage, 2.8s, 5.5 yards) when packs thin. Gouge is the 2s stun on two targets; Kidney Shot is the 3.5s single-target stun. The six-spell pool fills the cap. Win clock is 15:00.

Eviscerate (42 damage, 2.8s, one target) looks fat next to Sinister Strike's 15 and still loses the first-five-minutes argument because it hits one body on a longer cooldown. Blade Flurry is the only nova (11 damage, 6 yards). Rupture is 5/s for 6s on 3 targets — a DoT, not a second AOE tag. Gouge is 8 damage with Stun(2.0) on 2 targets. Kidney Shot is 12 damage with Stun(3.5) on one target. Stuns are control. They are not wave tools.

What to level first

Level Sinister Strike first whenever the offer is an upgrade. It is already equipped, the weight on owned-spell upgrades is 1.2, and extra ranks buy damage and later extra targets at ranks 3, 5, and 7 per the card formulas — that is how a one-target start becomes a pack tool without waiting on Blade Flurry. A new Blade Flurry still beats a new Kidney Shot on the same screen because you are buying the only tagged AOE in the pool.

After Blade Flurry is on the bar, Rupture is the cheapest multi-target add (5/s, 3 targets, 10 yards). Then Eviscerate as the 42-damage finisher. Gouge and Kidney Shot fill the last slots if you want both stuns — the whole pool fits the cap, so a seventh Rogue name does not exist. Rank Blade Flurry when the offer is an upgrade; extra targets land at ranks 3, 5, and 7 and the nova area grows with rank.

Passives share the offer. Max 6 at rank 5. Take HP or cooldown stats if the three cards are all passives — there is no Rogue-only talent tree in this snapshot. Sprint still unlocks on a timer (level 5), not from a card.

Rogue's weak matchups

Rogue loses the range war. Sinister Strike and Eviscerate sit at 5.5 yards. Gouge and Kidney Shot reach 6. Rupture reaches 10. Blade Flurry lists 20 yards with a 6 yard nova, but you still walk the body into melee for the starting spell. Mage Blink teleports 18 yards on a 10s cooldown. Hunter Arcane Shot starts at 28 yards. Those two class pages are the clean counter-kit reads: Mage and Hunter.

Warrior is 160 HP with four tagged AOE spells and Charge as a 25-yard stun. Paladin matches that HP with Divine Shield. Sprint is 80% haste with no stun and no Immune — you run, you do not punch through a Howl of Terror. Warlock Howl is a 12-yard, 4s fear on F. If Sprint is down, the fear lands.

Which map fights to skip is not in the snapshot. Do not skip the first boss on a hunch — it spawns at 2:15 on every map in this file. Later HP growth is x(1+0.75*progress).

How Rogue changed in v1

v1 is this site's snapshot label, not a numbered Aethus changelog. The Rogue numbers on this page are the extracted kit: six spells, Sinister Strike start, Sprint at 5, 135 HP, 7.0 yd/s, one tagged AOE spell. Source commit for those rows is eb9bbe3 (2026-10-13). The Windows file is dated 2026-10-19. A skill that changed between those two dates is not listed here.

Sinister Strike still starts, Blade Flurry is still the only nova, Sprint is still the F-key haste. If the live client prints a different version string, re-check the Rogue spell table after we extract the new file.

FAQ

What is the best Rogue build in Azeroth Survivors?
Blade Flurry: Sinister Strike, Blade Flurry, Rupture, Eviscerate. That is the six-spell melee kit with one tagged AOE. Gouge (Stun 2.0, two targets) and Kidney Shot (Stun 3.5) fill the control slots. Sprint on F from level 5. The whole pool fits the six-spell cap.
What should Rogue level first?
Rank Sinister Strike when the offer shows it — it is already on the bar at 15 damage, 0.85s, one target, 5.5 yards, and extra targets land at ranks 3, 5, and 7. Then take Blade Flurry (11 damage, 3s, 6 yard nova) before a second stun. Rupture is the 5/s, 6s, three-target DoT. Stop adding names until the nova is on the bar.
When does Rogue Sprint unlock?
Level 5. Sprint is the F-key mobility: 80% haste for 4s on a 15s cooldown. Every class unlocks its F spell at the same level. Until then you only have 7.0 yd/s base speed and 5.5–10 yard melee ranges.
Does Rogue fall off after the first boss (2:15)?
Kit math does not show a hard cliff at the first boss. Enemy HP in the snapshot grows x(1+0.75*progress) and damage x(1+0.9*progress). Rogue still has one tagged AOE and two finishers. Whether packs outscale Blade Flurry after later bosses is not in a run log. (low confidence.)
