azeroth survivors paladin build

Azeroth Survivors Paladin Build

TL;DR

Paladin is A-tier plate this snapshot — 160 HP (highest, tied Warrior), Hammer of Wrath already reaching 24 yards, Divine Shield as the 4s Immune. Who it is for: standing in Consecration with a panic bubble, not a three-target Cleave spin. (low confidence: kit numbers only.)

  • Core skill: Hammer of Wrath — 16 damage, 1.5s, 1 target, 24 yards.
  • Key AOE count: 2 tagged AOE spells (Consecration, Holy Wrath) plus Divine Shield as the Immune.
  • Easiest death wave is not in the snapshot. First boss clock is 2:15; win clock is 15 minutes.

Full kit numbers live on the Paladin class page. This page is the build: what to take, when, and what pulls you off the circle. The nine-class directory is on /builds.

Core combo and skill priority

Combat auto-casts. Your job is the draft and Blessing of Freedom. The Consecration Ground core is four names: Hammer of Wrath, Consecration, Holy Wrath, Divine Shield. Offers still show three cards at a time with the card weights (upgrade owned spell 1.2, new class spell 1.0). You will not install the whole core in one level-up.

  1. 0–5 min. Start on Hammer of Wrath (16 damage, 1.5s, 1 target, 24 yards). Take Consecration from the three-card offer (7 damage, 9s, 7 yard ground circle, 8s). Blessing of Freedom unlocks at level 5 (60% haste, 5s, 15s cooldown). First boss clock is 2:15.
  2. Mid run. Add Holy Wrath (14 damage, 5s, 11 yard nova) as the second tagged AOE. Keep Divine Shield (Immune, 4s, 28s cooldown) as the panic slot. Do not fill the six-spell cap with Exorcism or Judgement before Consecration and Holy Wrath are in.
  3. Late run. Slot Holy Shock (24 damage, 2.5s, 20 yards) or Exorcism (36 damage, 5s, 22 yards) when packs thin. Hammer of Justice is the 3s stun on two targets. Win clock is 15:00.

Exorcism (36 damage, 5s, 22 yards, one target) looks fat next to Hammer of Wrath's 16 and still loses the first-five-minutes argument because it is another single-target hammer while Consecration is the circle you stand in. Holy Shock is the real mid-range upgrade at 24 damage on a 2.5s cooldown. Judgement is 26 damage on 2 targets — a later filler, not a start. Hammer of Justice is 8 damage with Stun(3.0) on 2 targets: control, not a third AOE tag.

What to level first

Level Hammer of Wrath first whenever the offer is an upgrade. It is already equipped, the weight on owned-spell upgrades is 1.2, and extra ranks buy damage and later extra targets at ranks 3, 5, and 7 per the card formulas. A new Consecration still beats a new Exorcism on the same screen because you are buying the ground circle, not a second single-target button.

After Consecration is on the bar, Holy Wrath is the second tagged AOE (14 damage, 5s, 11 yard nova). Then take Divine Shield (4s Immune, 28s cooldown) as the panic slot. Cap is 6 spells at rank 8. Paladin has 8 names in the pool — two stay off the bar. A seventh Paladin name is a dead card.

Passives share the offer. Max 6 at rank 5. Take HP or cooldown stats if the three cards are all passives — there is no Paladin-only talent tree in this snapshot. Blessing of Freedom still unlocks on a timer (level 5), not from a card.

Paladin's weak matchups

Paladin loses the kite war once Consecration is down. Hammer of Wrath starts at 24 yards, but Consecration is a ground circle — 7 yards around your body for 8s on a 9s cooldown. You plant and stand. Mage Blink teleports 18 yards on a 10s cooldown. Hunter Arcane Shot starts at 28 yards on a 135 HP kit. Those two class pages are the clean counter-kit reads: Mage and Hunter.

Warrior matches 160 HP and starts Cleave on three targets at 5.5 yards — Paladin drafts the AOE instead of spawning with it. Warlock Howl of Terror is a 12-yard, 4s fear on F. Blessing of Freedom is haste, not a stun: you run through a Howl if it is up, and you eat the fear if it is not. Rogue Sprint is 80% haste with no Immune.

Which map fights to skip is not in the snapshot. Do not skip the first boss on a hunch — it spawns at 2:15 on every map in this file. Later HP growth is x(1+0.75*progress).

How Paladin changed in v1

v1 is this site's snapshot label, not a numbered Aethus changelog. The Paladin numbers on this page are the extracted kit: eight spells, Hammer of Wrath start, Blessing of Freedom at 5, 160 HP, 7.0 yd/s, two tagged AOE spells. Source commit for those rows is eb9bbe3 (2026-10-13). The Windows file is dated 2026-10-19. A skill that changed between those two dates is not listed here.

Hammer of Wrath still starts, Consecration is still the 7-yard ground circle, Divine Shield is still the 4s Immune. If the live client prints a different version string, re-check the Paladin spell table after we extract the new file.

FAQ

What is the best Paladin build in Azeroth Survivors?
Consecration Ground: Hammer of Wrath, Consecration, Holy Wrath, Divine Shield. That is the 160 HP plate kit with two tagged AOE spells and the only Immune in the nine-class file (4s, 28s cooldown). Holy Shock (24 damage) and Exorcism (36 damage) fill later single-target slots. Blessing of Freedom on F from level 5.
What should Paladin level first?
Rank Hammer of Wrath when the offer shows it — it is already on the bar at 16 damage, 1.5s, one target, 24 yards. Then take Consecration (7 damage, 9s, 7 yard ground circle, 8s) before extra single-target hammers. Holy Wrath is the 14-damage, 11-yard nova. Divine Shield is the 4s Immune. Stop at six spells.
When does Paladin Blessing of Freedom unlock?
Level 5. Blessing of Freedom is the F-key mobility: 60% haste for 5s on a 15s cooldown. Every class unlocks its F spell at the same level. Until then you have 7.0 yd/s base speed and Hammer of Wrath at 24 yards.
Does Paladin fall off after the first boss (2:15)?
Kit math does not show a hard cliff at the first boss. Enemy HP in the snapshot grows x(1+0.75*progress) and damage x(1+0.9*progress). Paladin still has 160 HP and Divine Shield. Whether Consecration outscales later packs is not in a run log. (low confidence.)
