azeroth survivors hunter build

Azeroth Survivors Hunter Build

TL;DR

Hunter lands A-tier on reach: Arcane Shot opens at 28 yards — the longest first shot of the nine kits — on 135 HP and 7.0 yd/s. Aspect of the Cheetah is a run-speed burst from level 5, not a teleport, and the pool's two AOE tags are both ground tools. Suits kiting at range with Volley and Explosive Trap.

  • Opening spell — Arcane Shot: 13 damage on a 1s cycle, single target, 28 yards.
  • Tagged AOE ×2: Volley, Explosive Trap — both Ground kind.
  • First boss 2:15; victory at 15:00. Aspect of the Cheetah on F: Run 70% faster for 5 sec. 14s cooldown.

Core combo and skill priority

Volley Trap drafts four names — Volley, Explosive Trap, Multi Shot, Aimed Shot — into a pick order, not a rotation: everything casts itself once learned. Offers come three cards at a time off the card weights (1.2 owned-spell upgrade, 1.0 new class spell, 0.8 passive upgrade, 0.5 new passive), so the four land across several drafts.

  1. 0–5 min. Arcane Shot (13 damage, 1s, 28 yards) is the opener. Buy Volley (8 damage across a 7-yard circle for 5s) and Explosive Trap (22 damage plus 4/s in a 5-yard patch) out of early offers. Level 5 turns on Aspect of the Cheetah — Run 70% faster for 5 sec. Boss one spawns at 2:15.
  2. Mid run. Multi Shot (10 damage to 3 targets at 26 yards) joins next; keep ranking Arcane Shot, whose extra targets land at card ranks 3, 5, and 7. Aimed Shot can wait — the two ground tools are the wave coverage.
  3. Late run. Aimed Shot (48 damage, 4s, 32 yards) takes the seat that remains. Serpent Sting (4/s over 9s, 2 targets) is the filler DoT; Concussive Shot carries Slow(0.5, 4.0). Victory clock reads 15:00.

Other names in the 7-spell pool, outside Volley Trap: Serpent Sting (2 damage, 4/s, 2.6s, 26 yards, 2 targets); Concussive Shot (8 damage, 3s, 28 yards, Slow(0.5, 4.0)).

What to level first

Arcane Shot upgrades first whenever shown — it is equipped from the start, owned upgrades draw the 1.2 weight, and card ranks 3, 5, and 7 add a target apiece. When a Volley Trap card shares a screen with a spare bolt, take the named four; they are the coverage the build is bought for.

Seven pool names, 6 slots, a rank-8 ceiling — one name stays home. With Volley and Explosive Trap planted, the last slots weigh Serpent Sting's 4/s over 9s on 2 targets against Concussive Shot's Slow(0.5, 4.0); Aimed Shot can wait for an open seat.

Passive cards cap at 6 of rank 5 from the same 10-name list all nine classes draw on — no hunter tree exists in this snapshot. Aspect of the Cheetah is a level-5 timer unlock, never a card.

Hunter's kit matchups

Hunter's row: 135 HP, 7.0 yd/s, a 28-yard opener, 2 AOE tags, and Aspect of the Cheetah on F — Run 70% faster for 5 sec. Even the shortest reach in the kit (Explosive Trap, 14 yards) out-ranges every Warrior and Rogue opener; the table below is the extracted comparison, not a match record.

Boss one spawns at 2:15 on all maps in this file; enemy HP scales x(1+0.75*progress), damage x(1+0.9*progress), and the clock stops at 15:00.

How Hunter changed in v1

The v1 tag is a snapshot label on this site, not an Aethus patch number — no numbered changelog exists for it. Hunter's numbers here are the extracted 7-spell kit: Arcane Shot opener, Aspect of the Cheetah at level 5, 135 HP, 7.0 yd/s, 2 AOE tags, pinned to commit eb9bbe3 (2026-10-13). The Windows package it came from reads 2026-10-19 18:26 GMT.

A live build with different values would surface in the Hunter spell table at the next extraction — that page updates first.

FAQ

What is the best Hunter build in Azeroth Survivors?
Volley Trap — Volley, Explosive Trap, Multi Shot, Aimed Shot — on 135 HP with an Arcane Shot starter that already reaches 28 yards. 2 of the 7 pool spells carry AOE tags; Aspect of the Cheetah unlocks on F at level 5.
What should Hunter level first?
Arcane Shot upgrades on sight — 13 damage on a 1s cycle, equipped from spawn, and card ranks 3, 5, and 7 add its targets. Volley (7-yard ground for 5s) and Explosive Trap (22 damage plus a 4/s patch) come before a second single-target shot. Six spells is the ceiling.
When does Hunter Aspect of the Cheetah unlock?
Level 5 — the unlock timer every class's F spell shares. Run 70% faster for 5 sec. Cooldown 14s; before that, kiting leans on 7.0 yd/s and the 28-yard opener.
Is Multi Shot a tagged AOE spell?
It is not — Multi Shot is a 3-target bolt (10 damage, 2s, 26 yards) without the tag. The tagged pair is Volley and Explosive Trap; Aimed Shot is the pool's heaviest single-target bolt at 48 damage from 32 yards.
