What Is Azeroth Survivors?

Pick a class and a battleground, then survive. WASD moves. Combat abilities auto-cast. Enemies swarm in waves. You level up and pick upgrade cards. A boss shows up on a clock. The GitHub rebuild states no server, no login, and no account. Official play is a browser tab at wow.aethus.pl — that page names WebGPU and current Chrome, Edge, or Safari.

The public rebuild used as this guide's data source has 9 classes (Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Druid), 16 selectable maps from starting zones through Naxxramas and Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, and a 900s win clock with a boss every 135s (6 per run). F-key mobility from level 5: Charge, Blessing of Freedom, Aspect of the Cheetah, Sprint, Fade, Ghost Wolf, Blink, Howl of Terror, Dash. Full numbers live on classes, zones, and cards.

The game

Aethus made Azeroth Survivors. It is a free unofficial World of Warcraft fan work, not a Blizzard product. Official play and AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar are on wow.aethus.pl. World of Warcraft art shown in screenshots is © Blizzard Entertainment.

GitHub source is optional

OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re is a public MIT / Apache-2.0 from-source local build on a WoW 1.12.1 client engine (commit eb9bbe3). It ships no Blizzard game files. It is this guide's data source, not the play link.

• Windows file: official download. This site never hosts the RAR.
• Controls and first minutes: how to play. WASD to move, Space to jump, F mobility from level 5, 1/2/3 to pick a card.

azeroth-survivors.com is an unofficial fan guide. Use builds, the tier list, and is it safe after you know what the game is. Safety, virus, and official-file facts stay on that dedicated page.

The original browser game

wow.aethus.pl is Aethus's official Azeroth Survivors host. The HTML boots a WebGPU canvas in the tab — the hero picker, cards, and HUD are drawn by the client. That page tells you to use a current Chrome, Edge, or Safari if WebGPU is missing. This guide's Play button leaves this domain and opens that host.

Discord or Windows download

If the host is at capacity, the official page says "Too many people are playing!!! Join our Discord or download the game for Windows!!!" Those links go to discord.gg/azerothsurvivors and AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar on the same host. wow.aethus.pl /discord redirects to that invite.
